Kasamh Se......

The soap currently running on the Zee Television and which generated a good amount of interest in the beginning, has started going in the way of other run of the mill serial shows.

It would be in the long term interest of the soaps if they followed a predetermined length and a central theme. In most of the cases, their objective seems to be to run for as long as they can without any importance to the quality of the storyline or theme. The producers tend to steer the story line in any direction just to suit the sole objective of maintaining continuity. As a result the story seems purposeless and direction less. The soap gradually loses viewership.

The evil contnues to win or dominate regularly through the episodes while the good wins only once in while or in the end, i.e. at the conclusion of the soap. It is irritating to see the "good guys" take all the battering at the hands of the evil.

The "good guys" often can not speak up or they are so secretive that many times the viewer feels that many situations could not arise if the characters were to communicate at least a little. Communication is so important in our lives. It is unrealistic to see so much of mis-communication or lack of communication. Although the three sisters are so close, Pia does not even know how much Bani loves Jai Walia. Bani does not even know how much Jai Walia loves her and vice versa. Everybody forms some judgement of the persons around him or her.

The three sisters are shown to take all the insults and still stay with the Walia family. Most self respecting people would refuse to take those insults. But if they were to leave how will story continue?

Seeking divorce just to be able to save the property of Jai Walia also seems to be too far fetched. It would be good if the producers give a definite direction and end to the story rather than continue the agony of the viewers.
